Chapter 352

Half an hour later, an unexpected figure appeared. It wasn't Mars bringing a woman to the hotel, but Darcy. She was heavily disguised, and her appearance alone would never reveal her true identity as Darcy. However, there was a maid named Barbara with her, and Winnie recognized her. It was quite an intriguing sight.

Winnie immediately stood up and rushed out of the bar, heading toward the opposite side of the street. "Hey, why did you leave me here?" Alan's voice trailed off as he remained behind in the bar.

Winnie approached Darcy's car cautiously which was parked across the street. It was a low-profile BMW, not the one she usually drives. Equally discreet was a five-star hotel, known for its charm according to the reviews Winnie found on TripAdvisor. She couldn't help squinting as she saw Darcy make several attempts to enter the hotel lobby unnoticed. Barbara took a room key from the front desk, and the two of them, both master and servant, headed for the elevator.

Winnie discreetly trailed behind, observing that the elevator made stops on the 10th, 12th, 16th, and 18th floor. She couldn't help sneering and walked up to the front desk, asking, "Which floor is your VIP Presidential Suite on? I have a fear of heights, so I need to consider that before staying."

The front desk staff assumed she was a guest and replied, "Hello, our VIP Presidential Suite is only on the 16th floor."

"Thank you." Winnie immediately stepped aside and called Olivia, "Can you hack into the surveillance cameras on the 16th floor of the Regal Hotel? It needs to be done now!"

"I'll try. What's the matter? Does Mars live on the 16th floor? Did he bring a woman back? That woman is... Oh my!" Olivia tapped her fingers, and the surveillance footage appeared, momentarily blinding her eyes.

Hearing the shock evident in Olivia's voice, Winnie knew things were not as simple as they seemed. She tightened her lips slightly and said, "Did you hack it? Send it to me immediately in real-time."

"Winnie, oh my god, it's a mind-blowing secret! You would never have expected it!" Olivia screamed, and the security footage switched to Winnie's phone.

In the splendid corridor, Darcy hurriedly exited the elevator and impatiently knocked on a specific room door. Mars's sinister figure emerged, and Darcy eagerly embraced the man. The two of them entered the room, seemingly oblivious to anyone else's presence, and Darcy couldn't wait, starting to undress right there in the hallway.

"Tsk, I never expected Darcy to be this promiscuous. How long has she been starved by Lawrence to act so desperately for sex?"

"No, no, the focus should be on why she would have a relationship with Mars."

Winnie narrowed her eyes. "Judging by how familiar she is with this hotel, it's clearly not the first time she has come to see Mars."

"Mm," Oliva hummed in agreement.

Winnie leaned against the wall, took a deep breath, and smiled. "What an unexpected surprise. Based on the kidnapping case, I knew there was some relationship between Mars and Darcy. But I didn't expect it to be an illicit affair. This affair has been going on for a long time, which is why Mars helped Darcy plan the kidnapping."

Olivia was excited at the newfound secret and exclaimed, "Holy shit, Darcy has been cheating on Lawrence for so long. Does that jerk know?"

"He probably hasn't found out yet, that's why Darcy has been enjoying this affair so much. She's clever, married to Lawrence, a billionaire with immense power, yet secretly having a feast with Mars every day behind his back."

Olivia then blurted out, "Hey, isn't Lawrence satisfying Darcy? How could he sleep with you five times in one night?"

The last sentence made Winnie cough. She immediately interrupted Olivia and with a cold smile, she said, "Olivia, that's enough. Focus on the task at hand. You should collect the evidence of their affair. Since we caught them, we can't let it go. Gather the hotel surveillance footage. At Darcy's wedding, I want to prepare a big gift for her."

Upon hearing this, Olivia became excited and said, "I thought you were really letting go and allowing them to get married smoothly."

"I did let go. But allowing them to get married smoothly and helping Darcy? Forget about it. The kidnapping case is making progress now. Maybe on the wedding day, Lawrence can see the true face of this woman."

"Yes, she has been fooling Lawrence with her 'mask' for so long. It's time to expose her!" Olivia rubbed her hands together and got to work.

Winnie put away her phone, came out from behind a pillar, and walked out of the hotel. As she stepped into the dim square, she unexpectedly bumped into Lawrence, accompanied by Alan.

"What's going on? Why are you here with Alan?" She was a bit confused.

The man, with a cold and stern expression, seized her wrist and cast a somber glance at the hotel roughly ten meters behind her. "Who did you go to the hotel room with?"

"Seriously, jerk. Did you mistakenly apprehend the wrong person?" Winnie looked at Lawrence in disbelief.

"Lawrence, of course she went to the room with me. I asked her to choose a room first, and I was going to join her after having a couple of drinks. Who knew you would run into us," Alan provokingly said.

"Shut up! Do you think she would choose you?" Lawrence disdainfully glanced at Alan.

"What's wrong with me? I'm single! Unlike some soon-to-be married person who has experienced a divorce." Alan blinked, feigning innocence.

Winnie stared speechlessly at the meddlesome Alan, and her gaze inexplicably stopped at Lawrence's face.

"What are you looking at?" the man shouted coldly.

Winnie muttered to herself, 'Your fiancée is in a hotel ten meters away, in bed with someone else.' However, she didn't intend to reveal this big surprise as she planned to save it for the wedding. Tugging at the corner of her mouth, Winnie intentionally avoided the hotel and quickly returned to the bar.

Yet, Lawrence, exuding an icy aura, caught her wrist and scolded her angrily, "You're still drinking? Will it kill you to stop? Go home right after work. Hanging out with strange men, do you realize how bad of an example it sets for Sidney?"

Winnie chuckled; her irritation evident. She turned toward him, her gaze bright and lively. "Lawrence, is there a worse role model than you? Don't fret; with a cheating fiancée like Darcy who is about to become his stepmother, Sidney will grasp the nuances of his single mother mingling with the opposite sex."

"You still want to pursue the opposite sex?" Lawrence's entire face darkened. She had hinted at her intention to remarry He couldn't control his anger. "A woman should prioritize her children and not be preoccupied with thoughts about getting married and falling in love all the time!"

Winnie was speechless and even Alan was stunned. Power really does make people lose their way. He twitched his mouth and said, "Lawrence, the law grants women the freedom to divorce and remarry, you know."

"Why haven't you left yet?" Lawrence sneered as he glanced over at Alan.

Winnie gave up on communicating with such a despicable man and tugged at Alan. "Let's forget about him and go get some late-night snacks."

"You dare to ignore me?" Lawrence gritted his teeth, though the truth was that the woman had turned her back on him. He couldn't help but follow behind, feeling more subservient than ever before. It was heartbreaking just to think about it.

They stopped in front of a barbecue stall, and Winnie paused, feeling a bit hungry. "Let's eat this."

Before Alan could say anything, Lawrence's expression turned dark as he blurted, "What's so good about this trash?"

The barbecue stall owner looked up at Lawrence in confusion, puzzled at his sudden malicious comment.

Alan immediately retorted, attempting to save their reputation, "Boss, he's not with us."

Winnie nodded. "Yeah, we don't know him."

Suddenly, Lawrence's icy voice came through, "Darling, even if you're angry, you shouldn't treat me like this in front of a random guy, right?"

The barbecue stall owner was once again shocked, looking at the three of them, but eventually focused on Winnie.

Winnie's face was burning red with embarrassment. She glared at Lawrence fiercely. He was so shameless.
