Chapter 165
John was super fed up with Isabella's attitude.
"When are you gonna quit this childish game? You just want me to dig up dirt on Bianca and drive a wedge between us. Isn't this getting old?" John snapped at Isabella.
Isabella rolled her eyes, thinking John was a total idiot.
"Enough, get out of my office now, and take your PR team with you. I don't need your help," Isabella said, pointing to the door.
John, who had put up with Isabella's crap for way too long, was now boiling with rage. "Are you seriously turning down my help? This might be your only shot to get out of this mess!"
Isabella's face turned icy. "From the moment you and Bianca kidnapped me and tried to steal my kidney, there was nothing left to talk about. I almost died on that operating table! I've told you a million times that Bianca's diagnosis and kidney match reports are fake, but you act like you can't hear me. You always think I'm out to ruin your relationship. There's nothing more to say to an idiot like you."
John's face went pale, and the three PR people in the office looked stunned.
Isabella's decision to end her engagement with John surprised many, who felt she was forfeiting a marriage into wealth. However, the three PR people now understand her reasons.
"Stop slandering me! Bianca's diagnosis is legit; she wouldn't lie to me!" John yelled at Isabella.
Isabella ignored John and looked at the three PR people, who were now staring at the floor.
"Did you hear that? A family heir being played like a fool by a woman!" Isabella sneered.
The three PR people lowered their heads even more, wishing they hadn't come to the office today and heard all this drama. They were cursing Isabella in their heads, thinking she was safe under Mason's wing, shielding her from John's wrath. Unlike her, they had no shield and could vanish for knowing too many secrets.
John finally had enough of Isabella's taunts. In a fit of rage, he swung his hand towards her face, but she was ready. She blocked his strike and delivered a swift kick to his groin.
John fell to the ground, clutching his groin in pain.
Isabella turned to the three PR people. "Please escort Mr. Williams out. I'll call Mason later to explain the situation."
The three PR people's eyes widened in shock. They deeply regretted coming to the office today and wished they had called in sick.
"Isabella, you bitch!" John snarled, struggling to get up from the floor.
At that moment, there was a knock on the office door.
Isabella opened the door to find a woman she didn't know standing there. The woman wasn't wearing a company badge, so she clearly wasn't from their company.
The woman strolled into the office, taking in the sight of an enraged John and the three PR folks.
"Looks like I walked in at a bad time," she said with a smile.
"Who are you...?" Isabella started to ask, but one of the PR people cut her off with a gasp.
"You're Juniper Fox! No way-you're the PR person Isabella hired?" one of them exclaimed, eyes wide with admiration.
John frowned, recognizing the name. "Are you the so-called PR Queen, Juniper?"
Isabella was stunned. She'd heard of Juniper Fox. If John's PR team had a success rate of over 90%, Juniper's was at least 99%.
Juniper smiled and extended her hand to Isabella. "Hello, Ms. Taylor. I'm the PR expert your husband hired. Leave this mess to us. We'll make sure you're happy with the results."
Isabella shook Juniper's hand, still in a daze. She hadn't expected Michael to hire someone so famous.
"Impossible! This is absolutely impossible! Isabella's husband is just a driver. How could he possibly afford to hire you?" John demanded angrily, unable to believe what was happening. But the facts were right in front of him, but it made no sense to him at all.
Juniper raised an eyebrow. "Mr. Williams, I'm afraid I can't answer that due to client confidentiality. We don't disclose our clients' information. If you're really curious, maybe you should ask Mason."
"You know my grandfather?" John frowned, feeling a surge of anger. Why did these two women always use his grandfather to put him down?
"Mr. Williams, since I'm here, there's no need for your PR team. Leave this matter to me. Thanks for your concern," Juniper said politely.
John clenched his fists, glaring at Juniper and Isabella. He had come here confident, only to face another setback.
Slowly, John walked towards the office door, still feeling the pain from Isabella's kick.
The three PR people hurriedly helped John out of the company.
Along the way, many curious eyes followed John, making him feel both embarrassed and furious.
Once they reached the parking lot, John sat in the car with a cold expression.
"What did you hear in Isabella's office just now?" John asked the three PR people coldly.
They shook their heads frantically. "We heard nothing! Please believe us!"
The three PR people kept their heads down, trembling with fear, worried that John might silence them.
The parking lot fell into an eerie silence. After a minute, John finally spoke, "Forget everything you saw and heard. If you dare to spread a word, you'll be fed to the sharks!"
With that, John ordered the driver to start the car and leave the parking lot.
After John left, the three PR people collapsed to the ground, trembling, grateful to have survived.
