Chapter 296

Jasper clenched his jaw and leaned in again, and this time Joe put all his strength into a punch that landed hard on the other side of Jasper's face.

The hit was so strong that Jasper was momentarily airborne before crashing to the ground.

"How about that? Did your gold tooth fall out?" Joe asked, grinning.

Jasper staggered up, glaring at Joe while spitting out two bloodied gold teeth.

"This is the price I paid. Get me out of the country ASAP," Jasper growled.

Joe eyed the bloody teeth, bits of gum still clinging to them. He picked them up with a grimace and weighed them in his hand.

"These should do. Well, since you look so pathetic, even if it's not enough, I'll cover the rest," Joe said with a sneer, turning to wash the teeth at a nearby water pipe.

But as he took a few steps, Jasper called out.

"What now? Got more gold teeth?" Joe's eyes lit up with a greedy glint.

Jasper covered his mouth, stepping back in panic, shaking his head. "No, I don't. I really don't. I just need you to get me some liquid food. I can't eat solid stuff right now."

Joe glanced at Jasper's swollen cheek, surprised. "Alright, I'll get you some oatmeal."

Joe walked off with the gold teeth in hand.

Jasper quickly hid inside the container.

Lying there, blood dripped from Jasper's mouth, his cheek grotesquely swollen from the missing teeth.

Staring into the dark container, Jasper muttered to himself, "Once I get out of here and get the money, I can find a good dentist to fix me up with new gold teeth. After all, I'm not short on gold."

Feeling hungry, Jasper touched his stomach, hoping Joe would bring food soon.

About half an hour later, Joe came into the container with a lunch box.

"Come and eat," Joe's voice echoed.

With a swollen face, Jasper slowly emerged.

Seeing Jasper's pitiful state, Joe showed no mercy. He was playing the role of a ruthless criminal involved in illegal emigration, with no need for sympathy.

"Here's your oatmeal. I added some sugar for energy," Joe handed the lunch box to Jasper.

Excited, Jasper opened the box to find a steaming bowl of oatmeal.

He eagerly started gulping it down, not caring about the heat.

As Jasper ate, he didn't notice the sinister smile on Joe's face.

Joe felt like everything was going suprisingly well. They had been wondering how to get Jasper to swallow the tracker, and now, with his missing teeth, Jasper could only eat liquid food. This made it easy for Joe to slip the tracker into the oatmeal.

Soon, Jasper finished the bowl, feeling warm and energized.

"The taste isn't great, too sweet," Jasper grumbled, licking his lips.

Joe rolled his eyes. "Just be glad you have something to eat. Eat less, so you won't have to relieve yourself in the container."

He handed over some plastic bottles and bags.

"What are these for?" Jasper asked, confused.

Joe's frustration was clear. "You'll be at sea for two days. Think you won't need to relieve yourself or get seasick? The bottles are for urine, and the bags... if you dare to mess up the container with your crap, I'll end you!"

Clenching his remaining teeth, Jasper, who had never faced such humiliation, took the bags and bottles back to the container.

Seeing Jasper's dejected look, Joe smirked, then left to inform Michael about the successful execution of their plan.

Back in the container, Jasper tossed the bottles and bags into a corner, then lay down.

"These damn bastards. Once I have the money, I'll hire people to take each one of you out. I'll make you eat your own shit," Jasper muttered under his breath.

Unbeknownst to Jasper, a small round object in his stomach began to expand, and several mechanical claws emerged, attaching to the stomach wall and emitting a red light after swimming around in his stomach.

Meanwhile, Joe called Michael to report on the situation.

"Mr. Williams, everything is done. I got Jasper to swallow the Parasite Localization device. Also, there are two gold teeth here. What do you want to do with them?" Joe asked.

Michael knew why Joe was asking and casually replied, "I don't want those smelly teeth. You can keep them if you want. By the way, have you sorted out Jasper's travel plans?"

Joe chuckled, "Don't worry, Mr. Williams, it's all set. Once Jasper gets off the ship, someone will take him to the airport abroad and put him on a plane. He'll be accompanied the whole time. And you know the guy, it's Tim."

Michael laughed approvingly, "With you two on the job, I can relax. Jasper's in your hands."

Joe and Tim Bridges used to run with some local thugs and steal cars when they were younger. One time, they tried to steal Mike's car, but Mike caught them in the act.

Seeing their young age and clever looks, Mike took them under his wing, made them study, and trained them for more clandestine tasks.

Mike had introduced Joe and Tim to Michael before, and they had helped Michael with some tasks, performing exceptionally well, earning them Michael's enduring trust and admiration.

Meanwhile, Isabella had already found a restaurant for her resignation party with her colleagues.

Since John's card still had some money left, although the amount was insignificant to the Taylor Family's companies, it was enough to treat her colleagues to a meal. So, Isabella generously booked a decent-looking restaurant for her farewell party.
