Chapter 335
After Isabella finished talking, the room practically buzzed with tension.
The execs who had pissed off Isabella were sweating bullets about their futures, but after hearing such a shocking story, their attention was completely diverted!
Carol gasped, finally getting why Isabella had said she'd faced death more than once. She was betrayed by her lover and sister, who even tried to steal her kidney and kill her. Insane!
"No wonder Isabella dumped Mr. Williams before. With a story like that, who could blame her?" Paul muttered, still in shock.
Paul had planned to leave after nailing John for his violations, but his curiosity kept him glued to the spot. He never expected to hear such explosive news.
Brenda was floored too. She'd been hoping for some juicy gossip, but this was way more intense. As a cop, it made sense to arrest a kidnapper and would-be murderer.
Brenda's eyes locked onto Bianca, making sure she didn't bolt.
"If you don't believe me, I've got proof," Isabella said with a cold smirk, lifting her shirt just enough to show a scar on her stomach.
"John, check out this scar. The doctor was out to kill me. A simple surgery turned into a bloodbath. If Benjamin hadn't kicked the doctor out, I'd be dead," Isabella said, glaring at John with pure hatred.
John stared at the scar, then turned to Bianca, his disbelief clear.
"Is she telling the truth?" John asked Bianca, his voice shaky.
"No, she's lying! None of this is true. John, you have to believe me," Bianca pleaded, clutching his hand and defending herself desperately.
Benjamin looked at John and said calmly, "Mr. Williams, I can back up everything Isabella said. You brought me in to ensure the surgery's success, but I was sidelined almost immediately. I could only watch until Isabella was in critical condition, then I had to step in and stop it."
John's doubt grew as he looked at Bianca, despite her frantic denials.
Isabella's gaze was icy. "An heir to a big family, fooled by a woman like an idiot. I've told you more than once that my kidney isn't a match for Bianca's, but you never believed me. You thought I was trying to mess up your relationship. Well, today, everyone's here to see the truth. So, Mr. Williams, let's do another matching test for me and Bianca."
"Enough, Isabella! What are you trying to do? Why are you slandering me like this? All your so-called evidence is fake. I don't know why you're making this up, but if you think you can hurt me with these lies, you're dreaming," Bianca shouted, pointing at Isabella.
Isabella stayed silent, just staring at John.
Everyone's eyes were glued to John, waiting to see what he'd do next.
Under all that pressure, John took a deep breath and dialed a number on his phone.
"Get my medical team here ASAP. I want to test the kidneys of Bianca and Isabella," he said before hanging up.
Bianca went pale and took a step back. "John, you don't believe me anymore?"
John looked at her with a cold expression. "Does it even matter if I believe you now? The test results will show who's telling the truth."
Bianca's face turned ghostly white; she knew she was in deep trouble.
Just then, Benjamin chimed in.
"While we wait for the medical team, let's chat about something else," Benjamin said with a smile, clapping his hands.
Soon, a bunch of medical staff in uniforms were escorted in by bodyguards. Bianca's eyes filled with despair when she saw them.
John thought these medical staff looked familiar.
Pointing at them, Benjamin grinned at John, "Look familiar? These are the folks who diagnosed and treated Bianca. All those medical reports you saw? They came from these guys. Guess how much Bianca paid them?"
As soon as Benjamin finished, one of the medical staff broke down crying.
"Mr. Williams, we were forced by Bianca. She said if we didn't do what she wanted, she'd ruin us with her connections."
"Yeah, Mr. Williams, Bianca used your favor to make us do things we didn't want to. We had no choice."
"Mr. Williams, we messed up, but Bianca was the mastermind."
Bianca shook with anger. The people who once sucked up to her were now throwing her under the bus.
At this point, Isabella pulled out another piece of evidence-a USB drive. She had someone plug it into a computer and play it on the big screen.
The screen showed Bianca casually shopping.
"The time this video was taken matches Bianca's supposed kidney surgery at Lumaria. More importantly, it was her first day off the plane, and she went shopping. Does she look like a uremic patient to you?" Isabella pointed at the screen, laughing coldly.
The screen showed not only photos of Bianca shopping but also a police report about her phone getting stolen during the shopping trip, leading to a dispute with the thief. The police body camera clearly captured Bianca's face.
After watching all this, John fell silent, not even glancing at Bianca.
Bianca didn't dare look at John either.
The room was dead silent. After a while, John turned to Brenda.
"Officer, since Isabella accuses Bianca and me of harming her, let's head to the police station and sort this out," John said, standing up and walking to the door without looking back at Bianca.
