Chapter 394

So, according to the law of conservation of smiles, when someone's feeling down, their smile doesn't just vanish-it pops up on someone else's face.

Bianca was feeling pretty down, but Isabella? She was on cloud nine.

"Ms. Taylor, did you catch Bianca's face just now? She looked so uncomfortable!" Juliet mimicked Bianca's expression in an over-the-top way, making Isabella crack up.

"You nailed it! That was hilarious!" Isabella gave Juliet a thumbs up.

After their giggles died down, Juliet asked, "Ms. Taylor, do you think Bianca will leave us alone now?"

Isabella nodded, "She'll probably back off for a bit. She won't mess with us openly, but who knows what she might do behind our backs? We've got to stay sharp."

Isabella sighed, "Dealing with someone like Bianca, you either get rid of her completely or stay on guard all the time."

"She's such a pain," Juliet said, stomping her foot.

Isabella waved her hand, "Don't waste your energy on her. Go focus on your work."

Juliet nodded and left the office.

The company's PR team quickly posted online about Isabella being the new spokesperson, and it blew up.

"The CEO endorsing the company? That's a fresh take, but will it work?"

"I heard Bianca snagged Isabella's intended signees, so Isabella had to step in herself."

"But Isabella looks stunning in those clothes."

"If I buy from their company, will I look like a CEO too?"

"With the CEO endorsing, there's no worry about celebrity scandals. Smart move."

Isabella's endorsement spread like wildfire online.

Some people were all for it, while others had their doubts. The internet was buzzing with opinions.

Having the CEO as the spokesperson was a novel idea, catching the eye of some business folks.

Soon, advertising pros chimed in, saying this could be the next big thing. Celebrities might draw attention, but the CEO knows the products inside out.

Before long, smaller companies, who couldn't afford big-name endorsements, had their top execs step in. This move got them noticed online, and their sales shot up.

Other companies quickly jumped on the bandwagon. Isabella had started a new trend in advertising. Some even started calling her the goddess of endorsements.

"My dear goddess, can I get your autograph?" Michael hugged Isabella, grinning.

Isabella rolled her eyes and pinched his nose. "They might call me a goddess, but you don't have to. It's kinda embarrassing."

"What's embarrassing about it? My wife is gorgeous. People calling you a goddess is just stating the obvious," Michael said with a smile.

Isabella rolled her eyes and got up from the couch. "I'm not a fan of too much praise. If I fall from grace, it's gonna hurt."

"Don't worry, my goddess. I'll be your wings and help you soar. You'll never have to worry about falling," Michael said sweetly.

"I don't want to be a goddess. I just want this month to end, for you to finish those damn pills, and let me enjoy being a woman again." Isabella teased Michael, then headed back to the bedroom.

Michael smirked, "I've told you, my kidneys are fine. I'm just taking care of them!"

Isabella ignored his grumbling and snuggled into the covers.

A plane flew over Isabella's mansion, landed at the airport, and Joseph stepped off.

"After a few days abroad, I still can't relax," Joseph sighed as he left the airport.

This time, Joseph came back without telling Avery. So when Avery woke up the next morning and saw him, she was shocked.

"When did you get back? Why didn't I know?" Avery asked, surprised.

Joseph rolled his eyes, stirring his coffee. "I don't owe you an explanation. I know you've been mocking me behind my back."

Avery awkwardly scratched her nose, "As your sister, how can you think that? I've told you before, Isabella isn't right for you. She's very happy with her husband."

Joseph sat on the couch and took a sip of coffee. "I know, I've accepted it."

"That's good. Since you've accepted it, I can help you find some girls your age. They'll be attractive and have great personalities. I'll make sure none of them are annoying," Avery said, patting his shoulder proudly.

Joseph almost spilled his coffee.

He rolled his eyes, put his coffee down, and turned to Avery. "Can you help me arrange a meeting with Isabella? I want to talk to her first."

Avery's smile froze.

"You said you've accepted it, right? Are you lying to me?" Avery glared at him.

Joseph shook his head, "Before you help me find a girlfriend, I want to see her one last time. I need to hear her thoughts about me. If she's truly not interested, I'll let go."

Joseph said earnestly.

Avery rolled her eyes, "I really don't get men. If you've truly given up, you wouldn't ask me this. You're still holding onto hope."

Joseph held Avery's hand and said with a hint of pleading, "Avery, you're the best. Please."

Avery covered her forehead in exasperation. "Fine, just this once. But why don't you ask her out yourself?"

Joseph awkwardly rubbed his nose, "Isabella seems to have caught on. I've asked her out to dinner before, but she always turns me down."

Avery slapped him on the head in frustration. "That says it all, you idiot."
