Chapter 323

Jasper heard a noise behind him and didn't even dare to look back. He picked up the pace, and as he rushed downstairs, he unexpectedly ran into another group of people heading his way.

The two men and one woman at the front froze when they saw Jasper, then immediately started shouting.

"It's Jasper, grab him!" Jay yelled excitedly. They didn't expect to catch Jasper trying to leave just as they got downstairs.

Jasper was startled but quickly thought of a plan. He shouted, "Stop them for me!"

Everyone who heard him froze, looking at each other in confusion, thinking Jasper had backup.

But soon, another group of people came rushing down from upstairs. Leading them was a guy with green hair and face tattoos, Peter Jade, sent by John to find Jasper.

Peter heard Jasper's shout and mistook Jay's group for Jasper's allies, so he ordered his men to attack them.

Similarly, Jay's group thought Peter was with Jasper, and both sides started fighting.

The street was filled with the sounds of intense gunfire and screams.

As for Jasper, he had already slipped away when the fighting started.

With his place in chaos, Jasper headed to his smelly warehouse.

After Jasper escaped, a sneaky figure appeared at the scene of the fight and made a call to Tim.

"Mr. Bridges, the other three families are fighting with the Williams Family, and Jasper has escaped. What should we do next?" the subordinate asked on the phone.

Tim was quietly lurking in the woods near the abandoned warehouse. He smiled and said, "Find a way to let these guys know that Jasper's on the run. Then give them the address of Jasper's hideout."

Tim's subordinate nodded and shouted loudly towards the warring factions.

"Jasper has run away!" After shouting, Tim's subordinate hid.

Upon hearing this, members of the four major families stopped, realizing Jasper was gone.

"You fools, your boss has run away, why are you still here?" Peter mocked angrily.

Jay stopped Tanner from arguing with Peter and asked, "What do you mean? Aren't you Jasper's people?"

"How could I be his people? I'm here to capture him," Peter said, then suddenly paused.

Peter looked at Jay, Tanner, and Hadley, sensing they were leaders. He seemed to understand something.

"Are you from the three major families?" Peter asked.

Jay looked at Peter and asked, "Are you from the Williams Family?"

The four major families exchanged glances, realizing they had all been played by Jasper.

After a moment, Peter sneered, "Looks like we're competitors. Let's see who can find Jasper first and get all the info we need from him."

Jay smirked back, "The ultimate winner will definitely be us."

Peter didn't waste any more time chatting with the other families. He just took his men and left.

Once Peter was gone, Hadley turned to her two companions and asked, "What should we do next? Keep looking for Jasper?"

Jay nodded. "Jasper can't have gone too far. Let's keep searching. We'll find him sooner or later."

The three and their groups went back, leaving the local gang members to keep searching for Jasper.

Back at their place, Hadley split up from Jay and Tanner.

A little while later, one of Hadley's subordinates came in, looking pretty pleased with himself. He whispered to Hadley, "Ms. Ruth, we've found Jasper."

Hadley's eyes lit up, but she asked suspiciously, "Why are you so nervous? Do the other families know?"

The subordinate shook his head and whispered, "Someone spotted Jasper at an abandoned chemical factory. This guy was picking up scrap iron near the factory to sell, and he saw a familiar figure. He even took a photo."

The subordinate pulled out the scavenger's old, cracked phone. The blurry photo on the screen clearly showed Jasper. The gang members had been showing Jasper's photo around, so it wasn't surprising the scavenger recognized him.

Excitement sparkled in Hadley's eyes. "Is this info reliable? Are you sure it's not a setup?" she asked.

The subordinate nodded proudly. "I was just asking the gang members if they knew of any prostitutes around, and I saw this scavenger coming our way. After hearing what he said, I brought him back. Now he and the gang members with me are locked up together. The other two families definitely don't know about this."

Hadley patted the subordinate's shoulder approvingly. Although Paxton didn't expect to gain anything this time, if she did manage to dig up the Taylor Family's secrets, she'd be in for some serious recognition.

"Keep an eye on them, don't let the other families find out. I'm taking my people to capture Jasper now." Hadley patted his shoulder again, then gathered her group and quietly set off for the chemical factory.
