Chapter 210

Michael and Isabella had finalized their plan to snag the Taylor family's company shares.

The plan was set to roll out the day Jasper and Mia got out of the detention center.

But Isabella had no clue someone else was eyeing those shares too.

John drove Bianca to the detention center himself.

"We're here. Let's get out," John said, giving Bianca a gentle pat on the head with a warm smile.

After leaving the yacht, Bianca and John headed back to their room. While Bianca was tending to John's injuries, she brought up Isabella.

"I'm not like Isabella, who gets all the love from your grandpa. I need to do something big to get his attention," Bianca suddenly said to John.

John looked up at her, surprised. "What are you planning to do?"

"I'm going to become the head of the Taylor Family!" Bianca said, dead serious.

"My family may be shattered, but its past glory and some of its bonds remain. If I can take control of the remaining three companies, I can become the head of the family. With your help, I'll beat Jasper, hands down. And after we've grown the business, we'll get married. Your grandpa and dad will be on board by then, right?" Bianca asked, locking eyes with John.

John met her gaze, thinking it over. Finally, he nodded, agreeing with her plan. It did seem like a solid strategy.

"You're right. I don't know what Mason's thinking, but even if he still doesn't like us being together, I can give up the family inheritance. With you and your companies, I've got a great start to build something new. I believe I can make your family even bigger and better than the Williams Family!" John said, a confident smile spreading across his face.

John had every reason to be confident. His business skills were way better than his dad, Owen's. That was why Mason had raised him so closely.

"Thank you, my dear!" Bianca hugged John tightly, burying her face in his chest.

John gently stroked her hair.

If Isabella or Mason had overheard their conversation, they would have been blown away. John was a business whiz, but when it came to women, he was totally clueless!

After finalizing their plan, John and Bianca went to the detention center to get Jasper to hand over the family shares.

As the heir to the Williams Family, John had certain perks. Unlike Isabella, who had to apply to visit Jasper in detention, John could see him anytime with just a phone call.

"Mr. Williams, Jasper is inside. We only allow one visitor normally, but given who you are... you're both good to go. I'll be just outside; let me know if you need anything," the detention center official said respectfully to John.

John gave a quick nod and waved his hand, signaling the official to stand guard outside.

When John and Bianca stepped into the interrogation room, they found Jasper already seated, waiting for them.

"Well, look who it is. My dear niece and her future husband," Jasper sneered, clearly unaware of Mason's recent public statement.

"Mr. Williams, you saw what Isabella showed us, right? So, you still think your little girlfriend's some angel?" Jasper's tone was dripping with sarcasm as he eyed John.

Jasper had already made up his mind. Once he was out of the detention center, he planned to leave the country and live a life of luxury abroad. He had nothing to lose and no reason to hold back.

John's expression stayed cold, while Bianca wore a faint smile.

"Jasper, you should know that in a powerful family, no one can afford to be purely good," Bianca said with a calm smile, cutting straight to the point.

Bianca hadn't forgotten that she had previously blamed everything on Jasper and Mia. She was worried that Jasper might say too much and expose her lies.

"So you want my shares too? Why is everyone after my shares?" Jasper looked at Bianca with some surprise.

Bianca was puzzled. "What do you mean, Jasper? Has someone else asked you for the shares?"

Jasper crossed his arms and sneered. "Isabella came to me a few days ago, also wanting the shares! She gave me some unrealistic promise, saying she could lead the family to greatness with her talent. So, are you going to make the same promise?"

Jasper then shifted his gaze from Bianca to John. "Well, with Mr. Williams on your side, the sky's the limit, huh?"

Bianca met Jasper's stare, her voice steady. "Now you should believe that I can bring the family business back. I think we both know I'm the better choice here. So, will you transfer your shares to me?"

Jasper crossed his arms, his eyes darting around. "I originally thought those three nearly bankrupt companies weren't worth much, but since you all want them so badly, why not buy them? That's what Isabella suggested too."

John's face twisted into a contemptuous smile. "How much did she offer? Whatever her price, I can pay ten times that amount."

Jasper's face lit up with joy, but his smile quickly froze.

He suddenly remembered that Isabella had uncovered his embezzlement. If John and Bianca announced they had inherited the family companies, Isabella might hand over the evidence to the court in a fit of anger. The court would then seize his assets and throw him back in prison.

'Damn it! I can't sell my shares now. I need to wait until I'm out and in a safe place before I deal with John!' Jasper thought, gritting his teeth.
