Chapter 176

Mason was about to call John to ask about Bianca, but Charles, who had been standing nearby, suddenly stopped him.

"Mr. Mason Williams, I think it's best not to tell Mr. John Williams about this for now," Charles said, looking a bit worried.

"Why not?" Mason asked, frowning in confusion.

Charles replied seriously, "Ever since Bianca went to prison, you've told John to stay away from her and not help her. This has caused a lot of tension between you two. Haven't you noticed John's been acting out? Why not use this chance to let him see Bianca's true colors? Mr. Mason Williams, it's only three days."

Mason took a deep breath, realizing Charles had a point. John was like a compressed spring; he could use pressure to make John obey, but what if he snapped? Then John and Isabella would never get together.

Mason sank into the sofa and waved his hand. "Fine, let's do it your way. Just make sure John doesn't find out about the call I just made. We can't risk him leaking info to Bianca."

"Don't worry, Mr. Williams, I'll handle it," Charles replied respectfully. He then gathered the servants who had overheard the conversation and sternly warned them not to speak of it.

Everyone was waiting for the court hearing in three days. To be precise, it wasn't a full-blown trial, more like a court-supervised mediation.

Regardless of the format, the dispute between Isabella and her parents had become a hot topic, drawing a lot of attention.

Three days flew by. On the day of the session, a bunch of reporters and onlookers gathered at the courthouse entrance.

A reporter, looking serious, reported to the camera, "Hello, everyone. I'm from the News Times. Recently, Isabella, who was involved in a plagiarism scandal, has once again become the center of public attention. Just as she was emerging from that controversy, she's now involved in another, with her parents accusing her of betraying the family. I'll be covering this event live today."

News about the four major families always dominated the city's trending topics. Although Isabella's family had fallen from their ranks, her former glory wasn't easily forgotten. Everyone was curious to see what kind of drama this once-glorious family would present.

Soon, the crowd stirred as a car approached, carrying Jasper and Mia.

The couple stepped out, wearing faint smiles and formal attire, as if attending a banquet rather than a court session.

Some reporters with microphones approached them.

"Mr. Taylor, what are your expectations for this mediation? Do you still hope Isabella will return to your family?" a reporter asked.

Jasper sighed and shook his head at the camera. "If possible, I'd like my daughter to come back, but from her reactions, I don't think she will."

"Mr. Taylor, you and your wife are all dressed up. I thought you've been worn out by everything that's been going on." Another reporter interjected sharply.

Jasper's expression changed slightly, but he quickly regained his composure.

"I want to show Isabella that even without her, my wife and I can live happily!" he said, then led Mia into the courthouse, hoping to avoid more embarrassing questions from the reporters.

However, the crowd stirred again as another car, a plain black sedan, arrived at the courthouse.

Isabella and Juniper stepped out. In contrast to Jasper and Mia's formal attire, Isabella looked very worn out, as if she hadn't slept well for days, with dark circles under her eyes. She wore a simple business suit, looking like a struggling office worker.

Reporters swarmed towards Isabella like sharks smelling blood, but were blocked by bodyguards.

"Isabella, do you have confidence in this court session? Will you win against your parents?" a reporter asked.

Isabella gave a bitter smile and looked at the reporter. "There will be no winners in this court session."

Suddenly, someone noticed Juniper standing next to Isabella. At first, the reporters only found her familiar, but soon recognized her identity.

"Isabella, is this Ms. Fox beside you? The renowned PR queen?" a reporter asked excitedly.

Juniper, known as the PR queen, also had high news value. Everyone figured Isabella was outmatched against her parents, but with Juniper on the case, nobody knew what would happen.

Reporters simultaneously thought of two possible stories: Isabella's amazing comeback, or her spectacular crash and burn.

At this point, the reporters were no longer concerned with the process of the court session; they only cared about the result. If Isabella won, it would be another victory for Juniper. If they lost, it would still be big news.

"Alright, everyone, no more questions. We will update you through a live broadcast. Please keep following the trial," Juniper said with a smile, waving her hand. The bodyguards immediately cleared a path through the reporters.

Jasper and Mia, standing outside the courthouse, also noticed Juniper.

"Jasper, who is that woman?" Mia asked, puzzled.

Jasper frowned, finding Juniper familiar but couldn't place her. It wasn't until the reporters mentioned the title "PR queen" that he remembered.

"She's Juniper, the famous PR queen who has helped many celebrities and tycoons with their public image! Damn it, how did Isabella get her involved?" Jasper frowned, feeling a sudden sense of unease.

Mia, unfamiliar with Juniper and her reputation, scoffed. "It doesn't matter who she is. We're going to win this trial!"

Jasper thought for a moment, then smiled and nodded. Public opinion and the masses were on their side. What difference could Juniper make? Isabella would definitely be the one to lose.
