Chapter 26

For guys, women were always a hot topic.

A bunch of women was sure to grab every dude's attention. If those women ended up exposed because of a fight, it would certainly draw a crowd of frenzied men.

The security guards at the auction house just stood by, watching Isabella and Amelia attack Pearl and her crew without stepping in.

First off, they didn't want to mess with the Williams Family drama. Second, Pearl and her friends, who were not only gorgeous but also had killer bodies, ended up showing a lot of skin during the fight, which the guards didn't mind watching.

Suddenly, the doors flew open, and a swarm of journalists with cameras barged in.

The guards, trying to be somewhat decent, quickly blocked the journalists, giving the women a chance to cover up. Pearl and Isabella stopped fighting as soon as they saw the cameras.

Pearl and her friends screamed and scrambled to get dressed. But then Pearl remembered she had called these journalists herself, so she wasn't too worried about the day's events getting out.

"Isabella, don't think this is over," Pearl snapped, glaring at her.

Just as Pearl was about to leave, Isabella stopped her.

"Hold up, Pearl. Forgetting something?" Isabella asked.

Pearl looked puzzled, "What else is there between us besides bad blood?"

Isabella's eyes were cold. "Remember our bet? The one for 10 million dollars? You lost. You said you needed time to get the money, but it's been a while now. Planning to back out?"

Pearl's face fell. She did remember the bet, and there were plenty of witnesses.

"You can drop 10 million on charity, so you must have it to pay me," Isabella smirked, holding out her hand.

Pearl's face twisted. She'd blown all her cash on charity and didn't have 10 million lying around. She could borrow it, but she didn't want to hand it over to Isabella that easily.

"Pearl, don't forget, there were lots of witnesses when we made that bet. You don't want this getting out, right? Especially with all these journalists here," Isabella said with a sly smile.

Pearl glared, realizing Isabella was blackmailing her. If she didn't pay up, she'd be known as a sore loser and a debtor, and that reputation would stick.

Pearl gritted her teeth. "I don't have that kind of money right now. Give me two days."

Isabella shook her head. "No need to prepare anything. I've got a way for you to pay me back."

Pearl frowned, sure that Isabella's plan would screw her over. She was about to refuse, but Isabella cut her off.

"For this charity event, donors have to sign their names. Go tell the organizers to put my name on the donation," Isabella said, knowing Pearl would refuse right away.

"Are you seriously suggesting I use my money to do charity for you? No way, that's humiliating!" Pearl snapped at Isabella.

Isabella shrugged. "Well, then, you leave me no choice. Either you pay up now, or I'll get the journalists to spill the beans."

Isabella wasn't giving Pearl any time to gather the money. Pearl knew she was cornered. Seeing Isabella about to make a call, Pearl had no choice but to nod fiercely.

"Fine, I'll inform them," Pearl said, only to see Isabella pulling over a security guard.

"Call your supervisor, or Ms. Brown here might make a run for it," Isabella said with a smile that looked devilish to Pearl.

The security guard nodded and quickly called the auction house manager. After hearing both sides, the manager handed over the signing rights to Isabella.

Isabella signed her name on the donation form without hesitation, then ignored Pearl's sour expression and left the auction house with Amelia.

Not long after they left, Pearl's furious screams echoed through the auction house. "Damn you, Isabella! I won't let you get away with this!"

Isabella and Amelia didn't pay any mind to Pearl's outburst. They headed straight to a department store.

"Isabella, you were awesome back there. That witch Pearl not only lost money but also her dignity. So satisfying," Amelia praised.

Isabella just smiled and led Amelia into a men's grooming store.

"Isabella, what are you planning to buy here? This stuff is for young guys; Mason wouldn't need any of this," Amelia asked, curious.

Isabella asked the staff to show her some razors. As she browsed, she said, "I'm not buying for Mason; this is for my husband."

"You're actually getting him a gift? I thought you two were just in a contract marriage," Amelia teased.

Isabella smiled helplessly. "Remember the bracelet he gave me last time? This razor is just a return gift."

With the staff's help, Isabella quickly picked out a razor she liked.

As they left the mall, a luxury car passed by, and they had no idea Michael and John were inside.

"Michael, are you serious? Can you really help Bianca find a kidney donor?" John asked excitedly.

Michael nodded. "It's not that hard, but leave Isabella's kidney out of it. You don't want her getting mad and complaining to your grandfather."

John nodded, excited, thinking Michael's help would soon cure Bianca.

Michael sighed inwardly at John's excitement. 'This idiot doesn't even know Bianca doesn't just want Isabella's kidney; she wants Isabella dead so she can take her place.'

Just then, Michael spotted Isabella and Amelia walking by with a men's gift box, his eyebrows raised in surprise.
