Chapter 180

John's face turned dark as he got a call from Bianca right in the middle of the courtroom.

He shot a look at Mason, who instantly knew who was on the other end.

"Don't look at me. Just answer it," Mason said, his voice icy.

John thought about stepping outside to take the call, but Mason stopped him.

"Why bother? Take it here. I want to hear what Bianca has to say," Mason said with a smirk.

With no other option, John answered the call. Bianca's sobbing voice came through, "John, I'm watching the live stream. You have to believe me, I didn't do any of this! Isabella's recording must be fake!"

The courtroom buzzed with whispers. Some folks believed Bianca, while others were skeptical.

Those who believed her thought about how advanced tech is these days. AI can mimic voices and faces, so the recording could be fake.

But the doubters remembered how Bianca had stolen Isabella's work before, making them question her integrity.

John held the phone, hesitated, then tried to comfort her, "I believe you. I trust the judge will make a fair decision."

Despite his words, his eyes drifted to Isabella. For the first time, he realized how formidable Isabella had become; she was a whole new person.

The judge banged his gavel to quiet the room and then looked at Isabella.

"Isabella, this recording can't be used as evidence. Do you have anything else?" the judge asked, curious.

Reporters leaned in, hoping for a big reveal. Jasper, Mia, and Bianca all stared at Isabella, praying she wouldn't have more evidence.

Isabella nodded calmly. "Yes, I have another piece of evidence."

She pulled a USB drive from her pocket and handed it to the judge. "This is a video file. Could you please play it?"

The judge nodded and signaled the staff to play the video.

Jasper and Mia turned pale. They had no idea what was on the video, but they had a bad feeling. Bianca felt the same dread.

'Please don't let it be that video!' Bianca thought, her fists clenched tightly, her nerves on edge.

Everyone was on pins and needles, eager to see what Isabella had up her sleeve. Mason was especially eager to see how Isabella would turn the tables.

John didn't want to believe Bianca was a liar. This video might be the key.

Even Paxton looked intrigued.

The video started playing. The screen showed a scene that Jasper and Mia knew all too well-it was their living room.

Three people were sitting there: Jasper, Mia, and Bianca!

Jasper felt like his world was crashing down. Their house had been bugged with hidden cameras!

Bianca crumpled to the floor, like all the energy had just been sucked out of her. Then, she snapped. She started smashing the already busted TV, tearing through the room like a tornado, breaking remote controls, vases, teapots-everything in her path turned to pieces.

"Jasper, Mia, you idiots! You've ruined me. You're all idiots!" Bianca screamed, losing it completely.

Right then, her phone rang. It was John, but she was too scared to pick up.

Back in the courtroom, the reporters were buzzing. They knew what the video was showing and were practically shaking with excitement, their cameras capturing every second.

Jasper: "Bianca, relax. The media campaign is working great; the public's on our side! Adding more pressure won't be an issue."

The reporters were stunned, and a bit disgusted. Jasper had always played the victim, the poor father betrayed by his daughter, but now he was exposed as a manipulator.

Jasper slumped in his chair, feeling utterly defeated. He didn't need to see the rest; he knew what was coming. The next part would be about the contract.

Bianca: "But you don't seem too thrilled. Are you feeling sorry for Isabella? Don't forget, she ditched you when she ran."

Jasper: "No need to remind me. I'm not letting her off the hook. From the moment Mia and I leaked her info to Pearl, we knew there was no going back. Actually, we have something else to talk about."

The crowd's emotions flared up. Jasper's words clearly showed their involvement in Isabella's kidnapping.

Mason shot a dark look at Jasper and Mia but stayed quiet, waiting for what came next.

When Bianca asked Jasper what he wanted, he finally laid it out.

Jasper: "Bianca, it's not that I don't trust you, but these days, a verbal promise just doesn't cut it. I'd like to get it in writing."

'There really is a contract!' the crowd thought. The reporters were already brainstorming their headlines.

In the next part of the video, after some discussion, Jasper pulled out two contracts.

The camera couldn't catch the details on the papers, but it was enough. The audience could piece it together.

But Juniper wasn't leaving anything to chance. She wanted to expose Jasper, Mia, and Bianca with undeniable proof and make them a public disgrace.

"Please wait a moment. Due to Mr. Taylor and Mrs. Taylor's slander against Isabella, we've reported this to the police. They should have already searched their villa, and you'll soon see the contract," Juniper said with a smile.

Just then, the courtroom doors swung open, and several police officers walked in, holding a clear evidence bag with a piece of paper inside.

The moment Jasper saw the cops, he fainted, realizing he was completely done for.
